Finances as they should be

MX Widgets — Release Notes — February 23, 2018

Enhancements

  • Sometimes things just have to go together. Bread and butter. Skis and snow. Fried Green Tomatoes and crying like a baby.

Similarly, manual transactions simply must go together with a manual account. We recently added some end-user guidance on this point: If a user clicks the “add manual transaction” button but does not have a manual account, they’ll be prompted to add a manual account.

    • This enhancement is now available for all users.

  • Checks? Who still uses checks? The answer is an awful lot of people. There were actually an average of 38 check transactions per capita in the U.S. in 2015.

Keeping track of those transactions often means knowing the check number. So, we’re now exposing the check number on the transaction details window whenever that information is available from a partner’s data feed.

    • This enhancement is now available for all users.

Fixes

  • For some users, navigating to the Settings panel from inside the Notifications panel led to what can only be described as the apocalypse. The actual apocalypse.

Really, it just crashed the application sometimes. We can now say that doing this will not crash the app. Whether it brings about the end of days — that’s anyone’s guess.

  • Doubling your debts would certainly be a really, terribly bad thing. It’s literally the opposite of what we’d like to happen to end users.

Unfortunately, a bug caused some debt accounts to display twice in the Debts widget. We fixed it before it caused any sudden heart attacks.
