Enhancements

  • We've mentioned this before, but it's finally here: All MX widgets will be released on the updated React framework on Jan. 15, 2018.

Many of the widgets have already been updated; however, this release will update the remaining widgets, specifically the Master widget, Debts, Help, Notifications, Settings, and Manage Institutions — which will now be called Manage Connections.

This update improves the look, feel, and performance of widgets; it also updates and clarifies end-user messaging inside Connect and Connections. Aggregation should be a little faster as well. It also adds an improved help center.

  • Categorizing transactions is absolutely central to budgeting, tracking spending, and improving end users' financial lives in general. However, it can also be a little tedious to re-categorize dozens of transactions by hand.

So we've made it easy. Really easy. Like, you-just-have-to-click-one-button easy. When categorizing a transaction, a button will appear asking if you'd like to re-categorize all past and future transactions that meet the same criteria with a single click. If you don't want to, simply dismiss the window.
